Buying ski boots in Borovets

What do people think of buying ski boots in Borovets? How much cheaper are they than getting them at home and does it matter not getting them moulded?

Has anyone got any experience of this?

I havent bought ski boots, but I bought Snowboard, bindings and Boots and bag for the whole lot out there 2 years ago. Very cheap. I got the whole lot for cheaper than i would have just got the board over here.

Shop around the shops in borovets, if you head just passed the gondola entrance, there is a nice little ski shop, (there was last time anyway). Really friendly and great advice.

If you are having lessons out there, ask your instructor. They will be able to guide you in the ...

Try going into White Majic, its a little bar opposite the samokov. the guy who runs it is called Christo Angelov, he is very friendly and helpfull and has always helped us with getting our kit, he usually keeps brand new boots ( quite good ones ) but they are considerably cheaper than in the uk. If he has none try his cousins shop next door they are quite cheap too. as for price you will get what you pay for, last year he was selling ones for £130 which in the UK would cost close to double ...
