Whats all this about then eh ???
Well, i will tell you.
Tony, a friend of our friends in Samakov has taken on a small kiosk right opposite the Samakov, beside the road down to the gondola (right next to where the police normally stand) and he intends to call it `By Angel'
We dropped into Boro yesterday, and met Tony, and sampled his wares... very nice simple traditional foods, plus burgers and pizza... and the prices ??? Bulgarian !!!
He will also be serving mulled wine (which also was very nice) and normal drinks...
He is also intending to open late, so the options for good cheap takeaway have improved.
We think he will do very well, especially if the queue for the gondola is a bit of a wait. I volunteered to stand in the line while demolishing one of his lovely pizzas (4 lv), and waft the aroma around on busy days, my rates were very competitive, but he declined
This type of business thinking can only be a benefit to Boro, very reasonable prices for good quality fare...
Perhaps Bobby and Kas have started something ?? I hope so
