CARNT WAIT CARNT WAIT!!!

just booked our ski trip for 23rd of march 2008.giving bansko a try it staying at the lion.been to pamps the last two years loved it but having a go in bansko.can any one tell me what the lion hotel is like?.where also going to vela raca in feb but love bulgaria so much couldnt help book for a cheap week to get a fix.

it is a verry nice hotel, about 1km from gondala but you have a shuttle bus. you are near the mountain , but m atleast for me the best restuants are in the town. much cheaper and 10 minutes walk down hill.

Lion is very good.The food is good in the restaurant and their is a good selection.Lobby bar is reasonably priced.Rooms are clean and linen service is good.Shuttle bus to gondola runs every 20mins peak time.We had really good stay there.The Lion mehana is good but a little expensive but it is not hard to walk in to town. All in all a good choice
