Can't pre-book under 8 in Ski School ?

Can someone explain why we can't book our under 8 kid into Ski School like the older kids and adults ?

And are the chances of hireing a qualified personal ski instructor (to keep our group together) any good ?

To hire a personal ski instructor you will probably have to wait until you get there and then have a word with the local ski school, discuss the level of instruction required and then agree a price and they will asign you a personal instructor. Failing that and if you are all more of less at the same level, there is no reason why they can't put you in the same group anyway along with other people.

hiya,join the club we have the same prob for our 6 yr old,from past experience you should have no probs gettin a personal ski tutor

Hi Andy, went to Boro last year - same problem, could get our 8yr old in ski school but wouldn't pre-book our 7yr old. We went with Thomsons and the rep sorted it out at the resort (wouldn't or couldn't at this end)! The ski instructors will take them from 6 but something to do with insurance is why the tour operators won't book in advance!. Please email if you want any advice - this was certainly an advanced headache for us!!!!! Regards. Yvette

I booked my 2 into Kindergarden last year and one of the girls was a ski instructor, i bought 4 afternoons of lessons for them cost me £60 Bargin i thought.. When you get there i'm sure you'll find everyone more helpfull..

we are booked with Inghams & pre booked lessons for our 2 boys aged 9 & 7

This year we are going with Inghams at half term in Feb, and we have prebooked lessons for our boys, 9 & 8!
