Can you beat Pamps ski school prices

I'm weighing up the options for next winter and have a very decent price for Jan 21st with Balkan, which is tempting, including the passes and ski's.

Just deciding whether to go for that, or diy it with an apartment, possibly rented from a very nice lady from Cumbria...and passes done seperately. The 2 factors that make it less competitive to do are the transfer prices and the pass/ski prices from the Pamp ski school.

Is there anybody else there with really competitive prices? If not ...

Cheers.

Balkan prices are keen but there are other factors to consider apart from prices. Obviously with DIY the price is per apartment and so you need to fill to max occupancy to get the best deal.
- Flexibility of travel days, for one - not being restricted to Saturday changeover (it is lovely having the slopes to yourselves on a Saturday)
- Private transfers - stop and shop on the way up the mountain
- Sociable travel times - often preferable if you have young kids

- flexibility and choice as to where you have your lessons - not just limited to the main ski school
- apartments often much nicer than the standard hotel rooms. Read the reviews before you stay somewhere.

True Pippa, and you probably realise just which apartment I'd be thinking of renting.

There's going to be a big difference in the figures though which will make the Balkan deal too good to pass. In reality its down to their ski pack prices being so good.

Also, East Mids or Manchester flights are a bonus compared to trekking to Stansted or Luton...albeit that tortous long transfer from Sofia....

yes, I know. Easy Jet fly from Manchester to Sofia too though. But I understand about the prices particularly if there are only two of you.
