Can you pay with Euro's?

Hello,In a couple of weeks we travel to Borovets to ski.
We will stay in hotel Rila. Is it a good hotel?
But my main question is: is it possible to pay with Euro's in bars etc.
I also like to know if its good skiing for people who are good skiers.

no you will have to change it to levs. skiing can be a bit limited for a good skier but should keep you entertained for a week if the snow is good. It's all much more centered around the fun sociable aspect as opposed to the serious skier.(you are the second person called Mireille I've met in BG and thats not a usual name)

I stayed in Rila last year, Euros can be changed to right of reception in hotel, there are also other places quite convenient down the street, just watch the conversion rate as sometimes you wont get the advertised price. The hotel is quite good, the food was suprisingly good but it was a different style that took a little getting used to, there was plenty of it, so you wont go hungry, also the deserts are first class. I stayed in Rila last year, Euros can be changed to right of reception in hotel, there are also other places quite convenient down the street, just watch the conversion rate as sometimes you wont get the advertised price. The hotel is quite good, the food was suprisingly good but it was a different style that took a little getting used to, there was plenty of it, so you wont go hungry, also the deserts are first class. You also have the option of eating out, we found the food in the rest of the resort was quite good and the pricing was unbelievable. I had a 3 course meal (steak) and a few pints for under 20 euros one night that we ventured out.
Having been skiing in Austria before, i found the skiing in Borovets dissapointing, firstly there is a limited amounts of runs secondly but mainly the ques for the gondola and the ques for the chairlifts can be quite long at times, i think in the mornings last year some people had to que at the gondola for up to an hour in the mornings, instead of queing we would use the chairlifts and come back when the ques were gone.
Having said all that our group had a fantastic holiday and we are going back to the Rila this year again, Enjoy your trip

Hello,Thanks for your reactions. Think we will have a nive holiday in Borovetz.
Hope it wil snow the next 2 weeks....... and that it won't be that crowded.
