Can you rent Ski Helmets in Borovets

Does anybody know if you can rent/hire ski helmets for children - 6 and 8 year olds in Borovets?? We are going in a couple of weeks and staying at the Rila.

you can hire helmets from the rental shop at the bottom of the main road opposite the samokov.5 levs per day

Is that definite as have been told you cannot hire them? Have you hired from there and what is 5 levs equivalent to in English money?!! Thanks for replying Chris.
