Cash

Any recommendations for what cash to take with us to Pamp? I've heard the bank charges a fortune to make ATM withdrawals.

re: Cash

If you've a Nationwide account, there's no fees for cash withdrawls abroad - if not, it's about £2.

If taking sterling, new or uncrumpled notes with no writing or tears. English notes only - they don't accept Scottish notes

re: Cash

Not true the rates of exchange at the ATM's are on par with cash exchanges even after you have added the charges.

Take some £ sterling incase the ATM's break down.

ATM's are situated in the foyer of the Mourgavets Hotel and next to the perelik at the top of the steps by the bank.

re: Cash

Yet another 'I've heard' comment that is totally incorrect.

Take Sterling, clean notes not written on or torn.

Cash dispensers do not charge any more than you would expect to pay for using them back home.

re: Cash

I'll second that. The ATMs offered the best rate when I was in Bansko last year. It also saves you carrying a load of cash as you can just withdraw what you need.
