I know of two cashpoints in the resort. I had no problem using them with my debit card, although you do get chardged £1.50 per transaction, or at least i did with Barclays
Sam is right there are 2 cashpoints on the resort but i think its best to take english money with you and then change it there, you rep will tell you where to find the best deals to change your money, but do remember to take clean fresh notes e.g. no rips or marks on them cos they wont take them.
there are 3 cash points one by the lift, one just off the main street. can't think where the other is off hand. but the one just off the main st you can withdraw 400 lev.in one hit should last nearly all week,
1/ Cashpoints give a better rate, but be aware they can break down/go off line
2/ dont bother taking lev with you, either grab some at sofia airport or in your hotel
3/ sterling or euros no problem though try to keep the notes to smaller denominations
4/ dont change on the street, a few years back Bulgaria did away with the old lev so those nice new notes you might be getting at a 'fantastic rate' could be worth sweet fa
5/ you dont need much at anyone time as its nice and cheap
enjoy
