Cedar Lodge

Morning All,
Flying to Bansko tomorrow

Got a letter in the post yesterday from Balkan Holidays basically saying that lots of building work and road works are going on.

Also that Cedar Lodge does not have a swimming pool or Jacuzzi as advertised in the brochure (I assume that means it isn't built yet)

Anyone stayed there over the last couple of weeks

My advice - change the place. It is a building site all around it, the building is not complete itself, In this weather it will be mud river in the day and icescating in the night.

Bit late in the day to change the place, will just take plenty of pictures for evidence if it is bad.

Just spoke to Balkan Holidays who assure me it is all now complete apart from water to the Pool.

Have you stayed there?

Hey,

I got the same letter. We're not flying out till 14th though and they said it could be complete by then so told me to call again next week. They said the only work that's being done is paiting etc so there's no heavy machinery or anything. Not too bothered about the building work tough as will hopefully be on the slopes all day. Was looking forward to a swim and the jacuzzi of a night though. They didn't give me any other options when I called.

Sorry. i have missed your reply. I am in Bansko and know the place well. There is a nice article about it on www.talkbansko.com

I just want to prevent from being disappointed. But i guess it is really too late, so just ignore me and have fun
