Chaos At Pamporovo

I have just learned that the 3 man chairlift broke down yesterday and at the moment it is still out of action.

People were being bussed to the other depot this morning so they could access the slopes but the queues were pretty awful.

Work is frantic trying to sort out the problem and they hope to have it up and running again by tomorrow at the latest.

Will the start it up and realise they left people on the lift?

There is a manual over-ride to get people off - just takes forever!

looks like the webcam shows lots of bodies walking away from the lift at the bottom.

they are all queuing for the single man lift

Reports are that the lift will be unoperational for several days !!!!!

Was speaking to a friend out there at the moment.

so what with no chair lift & no snow it sounds like the twelve of us that are arriving on saturday are going to have a great week,
