re: Shat room

Yeah, I saw your other post. There's 6 of us, but we leave the day you get there. I'm sure you'll find some people to hang out with, maybe some Bulgarian women, apparently they're not _all_ shot-putters.

re: Shat room

don't worry about the snow. Best in 20 years and the last few years the bulgarians manage to make the meagre snowfall last the season.

CHATROOM

Ally did set up a chatroom for the BeachBulgaria site in the summer.

It was mildly successful and he did put a lot of work into it, but because of new legislation it, along with thousands of others like it were closed down.

As the most regular of posters on here, my point of view is this.

If a chat room were developed you would get conversations about personal issues that may not interest many posters and we would soon loose what we have here today, which is a free for all message ...

If a chat room were developed you would get conversations about personal issues that may not interest many posters and we would soon loose what we have here today, which is a free for all message board visited by many many people.

On the whole the behaviour on this board is exemplinary and I take my hat off to all who manage to have a real good laugh without the need of filth or abuse.

Believe it or not, I read EVER posting that is put on this board. Nic is far too busy in Bulgaria to oversee all the issues so I contact him regularly with any points I need to raise. Postings have now reached a staggering 1,000 + per day and still growing.

In almost 2 years it has only been necessary to block the postings of 2 people who would not respond to requests on toning down their abuse. That is a great tribute to the friendship shared on here, long may it continue.

Chatrooms are quick, in out and away, this board tends to be both. In quick to ask a question, or stay awhile and join in the banter.

I for one would prefer to keep it that way.

re: CHATROOM

Actually, I totally agree with you. With a chat room you wouldn't be able to review all the previous postings at your leisure and pick up useful information from a wide knowledge base.

re: CHATROOM

Never looked at it that way, and I agree with you on what you said. I just like to say that this site is very good and the information it has is top class. It has certainly helped me to choose where to ski. I hope this site keeps going years to come. My mates are thinking to book to go to Bulgaria even before they have been and thinking of trying out the New Year over there. What is it like over there at New Years Eve

re: CHATROOM

Its brilliant mate.

You must try it even if just for 1 year.

What better to do on NYD than to ski........... if your head will let you.

Thanks for posting

re: CHATROOM

Ha................ as little as possible.

I own a garage in Cardiff where I employ 23 staff. Much of my day is office bound so I keep the discussion board open in the background.

And yes, the garage is very successful thanks to the great bunch of guys and gals who work for me, allowing me the time to keep up on whats happening on here.
