Cheap??

Hi Guys

Its over four years since I last went to Pamps, and I am going again in 28 days (and counting!!).

Question for anyone who has recently been - is it still extremely cheap? I seem to remember a bar in the Perelik where you could drink vodka like it was water! I a bit concerned about this trip as I am taking my brother and sis-in-law who have never been before, she is a really fussy eater and although we are half-board if the food is anything like it was 4 years ago I don't ...
Hi Guys

Its over four years since I last went to Pamps, and I am going again in 28 days (and counting!!).

Question for anyone who has recently been - is it still extremely cheap? I seem to remember a bar in the Perelik where you could drink vodka like it was water! I a bit concerned about this trip as I am taking my brother and sis-in-law who have never been before, she is a really fussy eater and although we are half-board if the food is anything like it was 4 years ago I don't think she will last the week. so we may have to eat out most nights (here's hoping the Pizza place is still running in the Perelik)!

Another question - last time we flew into Sofia and had a killer transfer journey of about 4 1/2 hours to our hotel (the Bor). This time we are flying to Plodiv, does anyone know how long this transfer is?

Thanks for your help
Very Happy

re: Cheap??

Just got back from the Perelik, 4 adults and 3 children, there was always something on the menu that everybody liked.

Yes the Pizza place is still open, we all went for a meal at the White Hart one night and all had 2/3 drinks i.e beer, bacardi breezers, spritzers and soft drinks for the kids + starters for all and a main course each for 123 Lev = £47.

re: Cheap??

Bladegirl! The last 3 times I have been the transfer from Plovid has never been longer than 1.5 hours. Bulgaria is still very cheap and there are now plenty of good places to eat out(see previous messages on the board) The hotel food seems to be improving every year(slowly!)
