Checklist!

Feel free to point out any obvious snowboarding items missing!

Things I have:

Ski Jacket
Ski Trousers
Goggles
Some Ski Tube socks
Hand Warner Thingies

Things I need to buy before I go (7 days) or out there:

Sunglasses
Lip Balm
Decent scarf or neck tube (neck tubes any good?)
Hat / headcover

Anything else i've missed? How late does the shop stay open on saturday night, probably wont land in Sofia until 6.30pm....

You will want some decent gloves and we found goggles much better than sunglasses!

Is there a place to get hermals online or will it be easy to pick up a good cheap pair out there?

Also what do people do for socks? I have the tube socks but do people wear anything else on their feet apart from those, I hate cold feet

we find that two pairs of socks worn at the same time works wonders!
one skinny sock and one fat one works too!
you can buy thermals in camping gear shops like millets.
neck tubes can come in handy to cover your face in snow storms.
p.s. look out for the snowfish if your going to pamps
and don't forget to have loads of fun

Thanks all, I was in millets today. Picked up my jacket and trousers there (and some of those hand warmers! can't resist buying stuff like that).

I bought a good pair of boots, almost like cats, these are for walking around in the evening, slippery, etc.

If this is 1st time boarding, I'd recommend a pair of wrist guards.
