Chepalare

Hi all
I have recently been talking to a ski rep who said a new hotel had opened in Chepalare. I was considering bringing a school group next season to Bulgaria and had been advised to consider this resort/hotel. Has anyone any information on the resort/runs/hotel.
The prices are supposed to be much cheaper than Pamporovo. All comments greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Problem is, its getting near the end of this season's ski season and not that many around to answer your question.

Hi Pat,

My name is Galina Dafova and I am the Pamporovo and Chepelare rep for www.Bulgariaski.com We organize many school groups for Pamporovo but so far have not had one in Chepelare. I live in Chepelare and we also offer the Chepelare hotels and ski centre.
If you e-mail me I will be happy to answer your questions and probably give you our offers too.

Regards,

Galina Dafova

re: Chepalare

Please do speak to Galina, Chepelare would be a great place to have as your base. It has everything you need and is very close to Pamporovo so the best of both worlds.

re: Chepalare

Hi Pat,

Stayed at the St George Hotel Chepelare, fantastic, have a look at http://www.stgeorgehotel.bg. Much cheaper in Chepelare than Pamps. The guy that owns the hotel is call Gueorgui and he speaks really good english, used to work over here. He does ski and boot hire too. Had a brilliant evening as he has a massive wine cellar and we did a wine tasting evening. Eating out, drinks, ski lift and hire are all much cheaper.
