Chepelare - Are pistes open - Location of Ski Kindergarten

Hi Guys,

The wife now has it in her mind that we might try Chepelare this year (despite the long transfer) instead of Borovets.

Can't seem to view the webcams at present. Are the pistes open?

Also where is the ski kindergarten based - Chepelare or Pamperovo?

Hope someone can help.

Also, is there a similar place to Bobby's Bar in either Chepelare or Pamperovo.

Yes Chepelare is open. Its only small but the pistes are lovely - wide and open. Good for a day at least. The only kindergarten I am aware of is in Pamporovo down at ski centre 2 which is also where the shuttle buses run from.

Is anyone aware of this years prices for Ski kindergarten?

Also; anyone not in ski school need a ski buddy during week 28th Jan to 4th feb? (Wife doesn't ski/board and is opting for pampering in spa's shopping etc. )

6 full days kindergarten is around 85 euros John.
Try posting on my FB page for a ski buddy that week - it has a good following.

Chepelare/pamporovo it is is. 28th Jan - all booked.

Skis getting plenty of brushing and waxing in preparation (much to annoyance of the wife.)



Anyone able to suggest a good Chepelare apres watering hole?
