3. Kopoh Bar is a lovely friendly place (at the bottom of the Rila Slope to the left. Food good as well)
4. Mind the Gypsy kids they are very good at pick pocketing.
5. You get your bags checked on the return flight and British Fags are not available in the Duty Free. They are in resort though
6. Hotel food is DIRE to say the least but the food in resort is cheap and top value.
7. Drinks on the top of the mountain are twice as expensive than in resort the same as food.
Hope this helps, we are back in feb 2005 without question. There is and was plebty of snow.
Happy skiing
what exchange rate did you get?
if possible i would prefer to take their currency with me as i feel slightly uneasy carring alot of english cash around
It does not really matter what rate I got as the rate changes on a regular basis but the resort rate was about 2.4 no commission you can get a better rate from any Travel Choice Exchange with no commisiion. And use you Saftey deposit box in the Hotel as peace of mind about £8 for the week.
