Christmas Day

Off to Borovets over Christmas, First time with the kids (11&14),first time away over christmas and not skied for 16 years. What is christmas day like in Borovets??

hi there - also going over Christmas 23-30th and its our first family christmas away too. Have a 10year old with us. So....second that question..whats Borovets like over xmas? Do the hotels put on festivities for Christmas day? Should we expect everything/restaurants and the like to be open?

Hi there, I 've been going to Borovets over christmas
since 95.All shops,mountain cafe's,bars, restaurants
and hotels are open.On the slopes in the day,you'll
find santa's and reindeers to have photo's taken with!
The two big hotels (rila & samokov) put on gala dinner
shows with dancing and singing on christmas day.
I arrive on the 19th dec until 30th.Hope you all have
a great christmas in Borovets,enjoy the atmosphere.

We are going from the 16th till the 30th, christmas day is a working day, so normal activity on the slopes, but with a lot more merriment generally, cant tell you where we ar eheading cause dont want it getting all booked up
