Christmas holiday

My dad has just decided to take the family skiing during the Christmas holiday. We can't wait.
But there seems to be shortages of snow everywhere.
Would it be better to go Bulgaria when there is almost no snow or France when there is decent snow?
We went to Borovets before and had a fantastic holiday.
Bulgarian people are obviously far far nicer than the French.
I would be interested to hear what everybody thinks. Bulgaria with nearly no snow or France with more snow?
We need to decide ...

PS. Has anybody heard from Nudger this year? I remember him from last year. He was a very knowledgeable guy who gave useful information. He was also very friendly and amusing.
