Roll on 1st July in UK - oh bliss smoke free pubs/rests. But we all know as soon as you're anywhere on the continent don't even bother asking for no smoking area. In Cyprus last year were taken by some Cypriot friends to a typical "local" in town, Friday night when all the local families were out for their 5 hour meze - one woman on table next to us had a cig on the go with food on her fork in other hand!

So how many fags can you bring back to the OK, seeing as bulgeria is now in the EU.P.s Loads of snow in Cardiff.

Not sure about this:We were informed that the Bulgarian authorities would only allow 200 cigs to leave the country.
However as they are in the EU we can freely take 3200 cigs back as EU duty paid.
Don't get caught by the Bulgarian customs.

You can only bring into the UK 200 Cigs from BG. The UK has adopted a special rule which supercedes EEC general rules. Check out the UK Customs website or a post on the beach site of 24/01/2007John D

Of course.But you do realise that I will have to charge you UK duty & VAT so that I can absolve my guilt for the heinous crime I committed!
