We need ski clothes before we go next week and we are wondering if its cheaper over there than here in Scotland?? We need jackets, salopettes, goggles, gloves etc.

Try trekwear.co.uk they do excellent ski packages from Dare2Be (Regatta) although goggles are not included.

Jacket, pants, fleese, mid-base layer, gloves, hat. They do male, female and kids.

Hope this helps.

re: Clothing

try intersport they had a good sale, put ski wear in google found a site earlier doing jackets for £20 trespass reasonable make, cant remember site name.

dont know what time you fly but usually you dont get to the resort until after 9pm and you meet the reps at around 8.30 in the morning for pre booked stuff, so not much time to go out and buy everything you need.

re: Clothing

newboy - I usually wear a thermal layer (depending on how cold it is - always on the legs), a mid-layer/micro fleece or jumper (or a soft shell layer) and the jacket and pants.

re: Clothing

Matalan had good snow gear before Christmas. In Borovets over Christmas, I wore thermals, (long johns and top), t shirt and ski jacket and pants and apart from a snow storm, never had the jacket zipped up. I was like toast!!
