Last year in Pamps (end of March) we ate lunch outside everyday, and didn't really need many layers of clothing. Can anyone who's just come back tell me just how cold it is there at the moment ?
Really wanted to know if it was warm enough to sit outside. Still, can find out when I get there.

Early March 2003 I got pretty bad sunburn in Pamps (my first year, did'nt think to bring sun cream!) last year it was cooler and not as sunny, this suits me because I'm not a lover of the sun anyway.
It did became tricky skiing the upper runs during last year due to the heavy mist/snow falling, but it added to the fun in a way. If it happens to you, wear gogles with a lighter filter so you can see better, it will make negotiating the turns easier (thats if your not that good in the first ...

The only real discomfort I found with the weather was frezzing my plums off on the ski lift on the way up first thing in the morning. Thats to be expected I suppose!
