Concerned Snowboarding Beginners

Hi,
my boyfriend and I are visiting Borovets for our first time Snowboarding Holiday 26th Feb, staying at hotel Rila and have lessons booked - So excited as I have heard really good holiday reviews, although most are for skiing which has concerned me....

Im also VERY concerned about the snowfall can someone please advise if Feb is normally good so slopes will be open? I dont want to be disappointed..!

Most Borosport snowboard instructors very good. My son boards every year and enjoys Borovets. With the new snow cannons, it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll be able to board even if it doesn't snow. In February however, there's usually enough of the 'real stuff!'

You'll be fine, there is a hill that all the beginner boarders practice on in between 2 of the blue runs in front of the Rila... i effectively spent 2 whole days on there whilst i was learning, try not to worry you'll be fine.

Hi Mary, we have been half term week twice now (we are booked for this half term also) there has always been plent of snow - I'm sure you'll be fine.
As above we have found the instructors very good - If you're lucky you'll get Georgi Kapov who we found excellent

Borovets is really good for beginners/intermediate snowboarders

hi we just returned on sunday from a week also beginners our instructor was quality, pavel usually teaches all the beginners.never touched a board before we went and i boarded down the mountian on the friday from top to bottom (girlfriend was injured but still had fun).
no matter wot the weather as a beginner there be enough snow and you will both enjoy it, def use the bars etc people reccommend as we never found any we didn't like!
