Confusion-how many kms of piste?

I have been reading the discussion board for ages and think that I have grasped that the one man chair lift is out and the four man one will not be ready until next season. So I guess that the Sitnyakovo piste is out.
BUT in my brochures it says that Borovets has 40 km of pisted runs and an extra 40 was planned for this season-making 80 kms. So why have I read that the length of facilities is 15kms?
How much is there and is 15kms not very much? Does it mean that the slopes are crowded ...
