Cost of a nightout in Borovets

Hi everyone,

I was wondering how much an average night out in Borovets costs in Lev. Im trying to decide how much spending money i will need, for next week.

Oh and has the gas been turned on yet? Has it affected the resort?

Thanks.

Gas should be back on in the next few days, EU monitors are in place.

How long is a pice of string? Depends how much you eat or drink. £10 for a "good" meal and about £2 a drink should give you an idea. There are ATMs should you get stuck.

I just got back from Borovets, and the gas shortage is mainly affecting industrial customers e.g. large manufacturing plants etc. Didn't notice any problem in borovets, but to be honest im not sure if they use piped gas up there.
As for cost of a night out as everyone has said depends where you go and what you drink, i don't drink beer or wine, i stick to spirits especially Vodka. A large Vodka by UK standards with a mixer ranges from 4 lev to about 6 lev. Thats with Bulgarian vodka, which ...

(Its an ex communist country, they know how to make Vodka!!) If you want an imported Vodka e.g. Stoli or Smirnoff expect to pay 5 - 8 lev each.
On a night out i spent about 80lev and could barely speak!!
Have a good time!
