Couple of things

Hi there
How is everyone? I was wondering if anyone could help me, where are the following runs in Pamps Snejanka 7 - Smolyan Lakes and The South? According to the snow report these runs are still closed.
Also I'm heading to Pamps at the begining of March and I was wondering if anyone had done any running in and around Pamps and if so could they send me some routes?

Many thanks
Sam

Hi Sam

Those runs are on the back side of the mountain and for some reason are often shut. They dont have any cannons down there and they are only serviced by a tow and a dodgy old two man lift (although I really like it) which is perhaps why they are frequently closed. As many have posted before it's a shame they dont make more effort to keep them open as they are many people's favourites ( especially the long lakes run ) and a real asset to the resort.

I would think given the recent snow and low temps they could be open so perhaps they are but the website is not up to date, as is often the case. I'm out next week so will let you know. Is anyone out there now who could tell us?

On the running, to be honest I have no idea. It's obviously very hilly and snowy so you dont see many joggers about!

Cheers

re: Couple of things

Hiya Josh

I know exactly where those runs are now I've done the blue years ago and I got my jacket caught on that chair lift I totally thought I was going back down by the hood of my coat Sad.
Let us know about the conditions I have 13 sleeps to go and I can't wait I love it out there this will be my 7th or 8th year out there. I'm taking my sister for the first time and I hope she loves it.
I hope someone will be able to give me a few tips on running out there.

Enjoy your holiday
Sammy
