Credit cards

Hi ya, I have been to Bulgaria for the last 3 seasons to Pamps Borovets and Pamps again. This year we have booked up for Bansko. Does anyone know if Credit cards are excepted there or not? We like Pamps the best so far.

Hi Howard (don`t think we have spoken before)
No probs mate, all the major ski shops accept Visa/Mastercard as do virtually all the hotels. A couple of ATM machines in the town and their no problem either.
The only exception may be some or more of the local bars (mehanas), they like to see the colour of your money (can`t think why ????) but all you have to do is stagger up to the hole in the wall and tell it to give you more money EASY !!!!!!

Are there e-mail/internet cafe facilities in pamp.? Thinking of going c. Jan 7th. What's the snow like then?

there is a sort of internet cafe between the Murgavets and the Perelik. The snow depends on the weather.
