Anyone been from Birmingham to Sofia with Crystal on European Airlines, we are going on 17th Jan any info welcome, tare: Crystal from Birmingham
they use a boing 737 one of the safest aircraft around.just the same as any other charter,pack you in and ship you out.re: Crystal from Birmingham

I flew out to Borovets on 26.12.03 with Crystal on European Airlines from Birmingham to Sofia.
I do not wish to alarm you but the plane had only one engine, and the wings appeared to be bolted on with pot rivets.
The toilet was out of order for the entire flight, there was a problem with the heating system- this resulted in many of the passengers getting bad frostbite.
We also had to make an emergency landing in Romania when the emergency exit door came detatched at 15 ...

I must say that it was not the most enjoyable flight - we caught a coach back which took 45 hours and broke down 16 times. The worst occasion was when in Slovenia; we had broken down near Bratislavia and were robbered by muggers and thieves.
This really was not the best holiday and I will be making a formal complaint to Crystal.
The hotel was ok - but there was no shower or toilet in the room, and no curtains. This was in a 4 * - The Rila.
I also broke my leg and my arm in a collision with a stray Bulgarian dog!
Sorry to put a downer on your holiday - Crystal did assure us that the plane we flew in would be checked before returning it to service.

Hey that is not funny pal, I had to deal with a 737 that crashed onto the MI at Kegworth. It is arseholes like you with your silly witterings on that spoil it for people.I am sorry to the rest of you but CHRIS GROW UP and PISS OFF. Cos you wouldnt like me if I was angry, and this is a very sensitive subject to me.

There was nothing in my post that mentioned crashing - it was supposed to be ironic - are you American by any chance, as you don't seem to understand the British sense of hummor!This post was not intended to cause offence - I think anyone with half a brain cell could see that I was not being serious!
