Crystalski Changes

Hello , we are booked to go to pamporovo on saturday . The snow report here says that only 2 pistes are open . Does anyone know if crystal ski allow you to change the resort you are visiting . Bansko and Borovets seem to have lots more pistes open .. Is it worth trying to change .

i have seen that some people have hired cars to go to other places , is this worth reseraching ..

I think PP pointed out on another post - unless the whole resort is closed i.e. not a single run open (which is rare) then you will have difficulty requesting a transfer/claim on insurance etc. A bummer I know - just hope the snow comes for you.

I would not mind paying to change sif it means a better time , not really an insurance claim thing

You will have to check the T&C,s with Crystal but on their FAQ's page it says "Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to your booking within 14 days of departure – with the exception of changing the names of passengers.

Please note that you cannot change your travel date within 56 days of your scheduled departure."

too far to other resorts if you hire a car etc and insurance will not pay up unless all pistes are closed (unlikely!) still time for snow!

Piste closure insurance is almost impossible to claim on. If all the pistes/lifts are closed in your resort, they will coach you to other resorts, even if it does take several hours and there's only one piste open there.Added to that, if you do claim you have to produce written evidence from someone in resort that there was no snow.

if i were you i would give them a ring and try to change its worth a go

Cheplare near pamps may have snow, taxiable or hire a car
