Currency Bansko

What currency is best to take to Bansko, are there any ATM's? Is it best to take Leva or sterling and if you take sterling where do you change it??

re: Currency Bansko

Take sterling as the exchange rate is invariably better out there and you dodge the atm charges. As a bonus - if you are buying any kit (cheap as chips lol) the shop keepers get a better exchange rate than you and they are normally quite honest about it. Get their best discounted price in lev, then ask for price in pounds. Say for instance it came to £72.50 then say would you take £70? Works every time for me, I bought North face ski jacket and ski boots, Caro bought Jacket and snow blades ...

re: Currency Bansko

Change it in the hotels so take sterling. And if there are any doubts about the notes changed you'll have more leverage staying there. John.
