re: Currency convertor

Looking at previous messages M&S are doing 3 levs to the pound. I personally got some in Lunn Polly (now known as Thomsons) roughly 2.6 Levs to the £1

re: Currency convertor

2.6 is normal for uk

would advise getting them in BG (2.Cool but take sterling not ripped or written on and change there. That is unless you can get yourself down to that M&S with the thick kid working in it!!!!!

Thanks Jak. I'm still not sure if I should exchange my money before flying out to Bansko or if I would get a better rate when in Bansko.

re: Currency convertor

Cheers for that Vicki. Perhaps the person who got 3 lev to the pound could tell us know which M&S that was or I guess that I'll just wait until I get to Bansko.

re: Currency convertor

I've always used an ATM for better rates, but starting to get nervous about cloning etc. M&S look a good bet!

When are you off to Bansko? Where are you staying?

Hotel Samokov in Borovets was doing 2.65 lev to the £ last week, no commission. Econimic & Investment Bank was offering 2.70 but don't know about the commission situation. Kiosks were offering more but didn't look too closely.

We took sterling and changed in the Hotel, it was simple more than anything, changed £100 a go, got out of safety deposit box at reception and changed at the window 10 yards away. As the holiday drew to a close Sad I changed what we thought we would need for the ...
