re: Currency

euro's are a better rate of exchange than £s.

The £ is still strong though.

What ever currency you take, make sure the notes are clean, are not torn and do not have any writing on them as they might not be accepted.

re: Currency

Not too sure about taking Euros to Bulgaria.
Maybe MrBulgariaSki can clarify as to whether they are widely accepted.

re: Currency

Hey Mel,

no problems with euros in Bulgaria, about the currency dicede your own, today rate for pound is 2,776 lev and 1,946 lev for euro in the postbank of bulgaria in borovez, so I think the rate for euro is great the offical rate is 1,95583 so you loose nearly nothing if you change euro.
