Currency

Does anyone know if you will get a significantly better rate of exchange in Bulgaria or is it usually about the same?
Im going to Borovets and ususally get my money changed pre departure but not sure which is best.

Check the exchange rate on line at something like xe.com before you leave and then look for something within a couple of points in town. There are plenty of people trying to rip you off, so look around

Change through the banks here too as the little kiosks will rip you off!!

The safest thing may just be to draw money from your UK account using your ATM card - its more expensive that Nationwide Flex etc, but less expensive than the little mafia run kiosks
