Currency

Hi, can anyone suggest how much local currency I need to take with me, I have already purchased accommodation with breakfast and all the ski hire , ski teaching etc. So I need to buy lunches and evening meals for two people and some general spending money

Take about £30 - £40 worth of local currency to get you by for the first day and the rest in sterling... Changing cash is no problem in Boro or Pamps, would assume the same in Bansko... Have fun

Hi Kate,
2.1 Lev/pound in Rila bank and 2.15 at Crown Exchange booths.
BE VERY CAREFUL anywhere else. They advertise 1 rate outside then a lower rate inside and fox you with buy and sell rates etc.
I dont use anyother than above, as havew been caught out b4!
