Going to Borovets for the first time next Friday is it better to take pound and exchange out there or change here first, any help would be apprieciated.

just take pound sterling and change there. its better. i'm going to pamps for the first time on sunday and i've been told this.

Nice clean crisp notes.....no tears, no writing on them .....exchange is about 2.7 according to people who have just returned.....use hotel for exchange, try to avoid money exchange places offering higher rates as they will sting you
there have been loads written abot this subject....click on search and type in currency and it will list everything thats been written..........

yes take pounds and use the hotels. just got back from Borovets and its an amazing place..have fun..you will.. and see my post about 2 for 1 offers

Anyone Scottish reading this ... take ENGLISH notes. I've been stuck before with lovely beautiful proper real Scottish money that they wouldn't accept at the currency exchange. As hard as it might be, get Bank of England notes afore ye go.
