Currency

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the preferred currency in Borovets, is it worth taking some local currency or is it best to take £ to spend and change there?
Thanks - Janet

re: Currency

Take about £50 of lev to get you going, then take clean, unmarked sterling, but not scottish notes.

You can also withdraw money out of the cashpoints and if you are with Nationwide, you don't get charged commission.
