re: Currency

Aprox £250 of clean and crisp sterling. That's eating out all the time and drinking buckets every night.

re: Currency

There have been lots of posts about this. I am also going to Bansko but on 26 Feb. Take a small amount of Lev and sterling notes (good condition only) to change there. I understand Bansko is very cheap for eating and drinking and you should spend no more than £300. I was thinking of taking £400 for 2 of us just in case I want to buy anything in the shops.

re: Currency

Is this for 1 or 2 people. See my post. We want to eat out every other night probably and have a good few drinks in the evening as well as a couple on the slopes lunchtime. Do you think £400 is reasonable?

re: Currency

I've just come back from Borovets and you will prob need around £300. but change this into lev BEFORE you go, the exchange rates they charge you while you are there is stupidly expensive. take some GBP but only for your return journey.
Enjoy

re: Currency

How do you get Lev in this country? My travel Agent said it wasn't possible.

re: Currency

I was talking about just the one person. The only way you will probably spend more is if you either drink yourself into a coma or if you buy gifts for friends.
