Lloyds Bank exchanged at 2.67 levs to the pound but someone mentioned Marks and Spencer doing a better rate. Other people have mentioned the need to take sterling notes that have not been written on or torn. We're taking mixture of both.

I got a rate of 2.702 with M&S yesterday. You have to have an M&S charge card, but they don't charge comission or a cash advance fee. I changed just over £100 but will be taking Sterling clean notes as well.

I always find gold nuggets or diamonds are the most convenient, you can exchange them in the hotel lobbies for entire bulgarian families.
