Currently in Borovets

Just to let all of you know it has been snowing most of today. -8C during day -11 now.
Very busy and queues for all lower slope drag lifts. Chair lift hardly any queue.
Most slopes OK but on couple still icey even after the snow today.
Rila hotel is reporting 30CM lower and upper slopes.

I will back on Thursday if anyone has any questions.

I am staying in Rila hotel on the 10/01/04 to the 17/01/04
I cant wait is the hotel nice? and are the lifts are the lifts all working ?

most of the lits work. yep the hotel is good but the rooms arnt that posh, if your room ends up as messy as mine it wont matter anyway. take your ear plugs if your a light sleepr the bar outside can get quite noisy. they cleen your room every day so clendleyness is not an isue.

you dont need to take towels they are nice whight soft ones, also they supply towels for the swimming pool and all the sports things.

the views from the balcony are stunning..

I hear food at the Rila is awful. Is this so? We arrive on 17th.

Hiya, any info on the Rila, staying there in Feb. Wots the ffod like? and the Bar, is it gonna be a good place for 7 blokes? ( first time skiers, professional drinkers)

We were there over New Year the bar got very busy at night and sometimes you can struggle to get a drink - I would recommend going out! However, there are approx 10 prostitutes a night sitting in the bar area sooo you might want to stay there.
