DRY SKI SLOPES

Can anyone tell me what they think of dry ski slopes, with permasnow.
I'm thinking of going for some lessons , can it help you towards skiing on the real thing.

re: DRY SKI SLOPES

Yes it can help, if only to give you a feel of the boots and skis and the very basics, skiing on the real thing is, at first, easier as there is more room and its a softer landing. Its worth a couple of lessons to get you started - that's our opinion anyway.

I have had 3 lessons at Castleford. Strongly reccommend it, however it is £26 per hour! Crying

re: DRY SKI SLOPES

i work at wycombe summit and a lot of people say that learning to ski on dendex means that you find it a hell of a lot easier when you get on snow. i wouldn't know personally as i'm a boarder and hate the dry stuff!!
