Daily budget?

Hi, we are going half board which we shall use, so just need lunches and snacks for us and the two kids. How much do you reckon we will need per day? Last summer we went to Bulgaria but AI so it's difficult to know how much to take.

re: Daily budget?

Which resort are you staying in? People might be able to recommend more reasonable places if we know.

We always take our own snacks. Asda have a multipack of 5 Mars bars for £1.

Hi

We're going to Borovets- have got some cups of instant Aero hot chocolate for when we get back to the hotel, but chocolate bars sounds like a good idea.

I haven't been to Borovets so I can't offer any advise. I am sure somebody will help you out though.

The chocolate bars are a godsend we find especially for the kids. It gives them a bit of a boost when they are flagging and there is no danger of them melting in your pocket!

We also take our hip flasks out on the slopes with us.

re: Daily budget?

Hi Pam. We went to Borovets last year and are going again on Saturday (Cant' wait!!!!). We are 2 adults & 2 kids and found that 30 leva would be enough for the kids' dinner and probably slightly more for us two adults, so that's 60. Dinner we ate in the hotel (The Rila)most nights, but did venture out on more than one occasion. A family of four, with starters, drinks etc.., you'd be looking at around 100 lev. Your budget will really depend on what you plan to do after the skiing has finished ...

re: Daily budget?

HI back from borovets on saturday went half board with my husband we spent about £200.00 for the week on drinks and lunches, if you can take a back pack and put some water and a few mars/kit kats in it when you are up at the top as food and drink is expensive if you are skiing outside the rila food is not expensive.

re: Daily budget?

Hi everyone- thanks for the replies, they are really helpful. I had thought about £300 for the week, which working on the theory that we are likely to be far too shattered to live it up much in the evenings, sounds about right. I will definately add snacks to my holiday shopping list and perhaps cartons of juice for the kids.

Thanks again
