Daniel,

I note from an earlier post that you are off to Banff soon. Lucky bugger.!!

I was there last year so if I can help with any info let me know. We stayed next door to the Caribou but used the bar there. Loved the town and the ski areas. Can also recommend going dog sledging. Not the cheapest trip but well worth it.

Thanks Val. I am going in 4 weeks time cannot wait Very Happy Doing Calgary 3 nights Banff for 5 then the Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver. Spend 5 nights there then cruise up to Alaska!!! (are you reading this Pete?sorry!) Should still be snow in Banff as ther is quite a bit at the moment. Very Happy

There will still be loads of snow I would think on the slopes. Sunshine Village with its 100% natural snow usually lasts to May. It was our favourite ski area although others prefer Lake Louise. Best website is www.skibig3.com
