Day 1 advice

Hi all,

off to Pamporovo for our first ever ski holiday in March.

One thing we have not been able to find out from trawling through the posts on here is what happens on day 1.

We should arrive in Pamps about midnight and we have pre booked our ski package and know we are supposed to start the next morning.

If anyone could explain the proceedure that would be most appreciated.

Also, what happens to our ski's overnight? Do we take them back to the hotel or leave them somewhere ...

Thanks in advance for the info.

Hi
As Do It said- relax!
After breakfast your first morning there will be a meeting (details given on coach) where you will get all the information you need, to collect skis etc and where to return them.
After the first morning everything will run smooth!
Enjoy your time and have fun! Very Happy

re: Day 1 advice

Agree - as above. Don't panic your rep will tell you everything you need to know. You will leave your ski's at the ski depot every night - no need to take them back to the hotel.

Where are you staying Jay?

re: Day 1 advice

If its your very first ski holiday , you must sleep in all your nice new gear ..../ hopefully if they have delivered them , yopu can leave your skis and poles next to your bed also .
Dont forget to wear your goggles to breakfast...steal as much extra b/ fgast as you can to eat up the hill also through the day .

At the end of day one when you know you made a bad choice ...BOOK SNOW BOARDING LESSONS AND GEAR Booze

chill relax and enjoy , all will be told you by yoda your rep

re: Day 1 advice

Don't forget, when skiing in Bulgaria, it is customary to wear underpants over the top of your ski gear on the first day. You will get some very strange looks if you forget this basic fact. Leopard skin and daygo colours are all the fashion too this season! Wink
