Conditions update as promised from Powderpipi...

Well it continued to snow well into the night up here to the point where my missus said we are going riding with Moey & Helen at 10am in the morning.

I found myself saying " what about the christmas dinner shopping" at one point only for Claireabella to give me a slap and send me to stand in the corner!

So we hit the slopes from ski centre 1 at 10:30am ( we are on holiday afterall) and enjoyed perfect runs down from the top to mid-station! Lovely grommed slopes for some and deep deep powder on the sides for those that want it

The wall, small wall, no6 road slopes are perfect, stoykite 1 is open and very good - just a little icy in places around the bottom.

Had to dig ourselves out of some major wipe outs because its so deep you don't care jumping off some big ledges on the way down! Did i say we enjoyed ourselves a little bit too much?????

Lunch in the Markoney before heading up for a few more fun runs to end a perfect start to Christmas - Santa has delivered a couple of days early and all is well with the world
