Day Two - still alive... just

Well it's still fantastic out here. I've changed ski groups cos although Angel is fantastic, I'm just not up to the speed of the group and rather than hold everyone else back, I've dropped back a class... I've spent today on the nursery slopes again just going over the basics - should have done that yesterday really and now I'm in Nick's group.

He decided that after lunch we'd go on that 6km run - fat chance... I'm not going on that, I don't have the confidence yet so I stayed back on ...

He decided that after lunch we'd go on that 6km run - fat chance... I'm not going on that, I don't have the confidence yet so I stayed back on the nursery slopes just practicing my traversing - we met at the end of the day and he said I'd made a good decision as it was very icy up there. Such a relief I didn't do it. Tomorrow we're taking the gondola up to the top and doing the runs up there.

The snow is certainly thawing at the bottom of the slopes by mid afternoon and then freezing over again overnight so conditions in the evenings are a bit trecherous walking around outside.

All in all, I'm so glad I rebooked and am really enjoying it. The suntan is also coming along nicely. Food is hot in the Samokov and there is the man who cooks fresh omelettes for you so no problems for vegetarians if you don't fancy anything else.
