Delayed Flight to Gatwick

Well despite the nightmare delay and the ancient hotel that we were put in whilst our plane was delayed, we all had a fab time in Borovets!

Great nightlife at the Happy Duck and Sunny's - you must visit because these are certainly the best bars in Borovets!

I quite agree Emma, even the ancient hotel had a certain soviet-era charm, and I thoroughly enjoyed my unexpected extra day in Sofia. Picking around the antiques stalls near the Alexander Nevsky cathedral was a delight, if anyone ever wants to buy Nazi regalia, that would be the place to go.
Bit knackered though when I got home at 4am Monday morning!
