Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I'm not a very happy bunny this morning.

I have posted contact information regarding the Albena Ski School on here in reply to Nigels request for information regarding lessons when he is Borovets. It has been deleted twice now and I do not understand why.

The person in question has contacted BulgariaSki about hire of equipment and they can't help as he hasn't booked a holiday with them. Maybe they are in cahoots with the UK holiday companies and deleting information as they don't want to upset them? Just a thought.

The information was posted last year without difficulty and to be honest it would be courteous if someone advised why the information had been deleted rather than just doing it.

I thought this was a discussion board to help people who are going to BG skiing and all I was doing was trying to help someone. It would seem that someone somewhere has other ideas about that I try my best to help those going to Borovets as a lot of people on here are fans of Pamporovo maybe I should stop bothering.

Hi Ellie. Ok you are not a happy bunny! What you have to understand is this board that we use free of charge is provided by Bulgariaski who make there money as a tour operator. Now what kind of business do you know that let other companies offering the same services advertise free of charge on a website?

Ok I know that you now cant book the ski pack through this site unless you have booked your holiday as well and I think that is a bit daft (think of the extra revenue guys!) But you do not really want your competitors being advertised do you?
It's a bit like when people phone me (I am a taxi driver) and I cant help I always get asked if I know any other numbers? Do you think I say yes of course phone Joe Bloggs Taxis they will help you?!! NO!

Please dont get too stressed about it perhaps next time you can suggest the poster contact you or you them with your info. That way everybody happy

I didn't actually think it was you Pete as I felt you would have advised me if you were going to delete something I had written. I assumed it was BulgariaSki themselves and if they didn't like what I wrote felt they should offer an explanation. Afterall the information wasn't new and was something I have posted previously without problems.

I didn't actually take kindly to your "holier than though" attitude. I am not a new poster to this board so I do understand how it works thank you. Happy and indeed unhappy customers can post their views on bars, cafes and even hotels but when it came to mentioning a ski school the item was deleted.

I was answering a question in direct response to a board user and wasn't posting information willy nilly. Perhaps BulgariaSki have a contact with Borosport which precludes them from allowing any information about other facilities in Borovets. Just a thought.

My main issue was I wasn't informed that the item had been deleted. I repeat, that like Pete, I try to HELP and advise travellers to Borovets in the same way as you do to Pamporovo.
