One dent on the leading edge (1mm-2mm) and scratched to hell. Nothing to deep a couple of mm and some upto 6-8mm wild. But I was not holding back if your gonna board then go for it I say
I took it in for a service today and they said they should be able to sort it but they need it for 4-5 days (Usually same day) which is a pain as I fly out again to Italy on Saturday but should have it back in time.

I would not say it was an easy week for boarders but then I have spent weeks on packed ice before which is alot worse.
Alot of the rental boards I saw were getting smashed to pieces I saw by the beginners so I can't complain I suppose.
Was brilliant!!! Didn't break the board completely but it had a few more creases when I gave it back and I did have to have the binding changed. Shame about the amount of stones and mountaing showing through on the way down to the mid-station but was just enough for a novice like me to pick up the basics. Is there anywhere you would recommend for me to progress...ideally somewhere with lots of long blue and easy red runs?
I've not been to many places myself but Arabba in the dolomites once you've learn has loads to chose from about 150km I think. Bit more pricey but you can get deals. Once you have the basics then it is worth going. One way you have to negotiate one wide red and then miles and miles of blues. Then when ready you can move up.
Appart from that I am not sure. I do think Borovets with a bit more snow would be fantastic as the second time you tend to really move on quicker and that bit more ...
