In the internet cafe between Murgavets and Perelik.

Snow (according to a number of instructors) is the best for twenty years. It is amazing.

Sun is forecast all this week but it is bl*@#y freezing. New ski hire system works well but they have put me in a group with the most boring people from the UK. I have labelled them the diet coke brigade.

Mugavets very nice although had an over booking problem and we were put in the staff quarters for the first night. Now in a normal room. (If you get a room that begins with a 9 demand another immediately).

Just been to the welcome meeting and booked the bum boarding, quiz night, the ski instructors show (including fireworks) and the traditional Bulgarian night. For the two of us it cost 52.50 sterling (could not put a pound sign as the keyboard does not have one).

Journey from airport well organised and took 1 hour 45 minutes from Plovdiv.

Second day skiing tomorrow and legs ache. Also only had four hours sleep last night as we didn't arrive at the hotel until 3am.

Glad to hear you are liking the snow. We came back from pamporovo yesterday and both wish we were still there !! Snow was great, although we had 3 feet of it last thursday which made getting to the ski centre a bit of a task. We were snowboarding and it was excellent. A big thanks to Gary, Ted, Nic and everyone else at the Snowshack for making our holiday special (don't go in there if you are in a hurry). Hope you enjoy the trips you booked and I hope the quiz noght isn't as shit as it was when we went last week (watch out for the tinfoil !)
