Disappointing Service from Bulgaria Ski

Just back from a week's snowboarding in Borovets, normally not one for complaining, but felt the service we received from Sirma at BulgariaSki was very disappointing. We unfortunately had our flight cancelled from Heathrow due to the fog, but managed to go standby the next day. Once we knew our flight was cancelled, we contacted Sirma to help us organise to stay an extra night, to make up a proper week of boarding, she had promised to contact us via email, but after 3 phone calls from us ...
Just back from a week's snowboarding in Borovets, normally not one for complaining, but felt the service we received from Sirma at BulgariaSki was very disappointing. We unfortunately had our flight cancelled from Heathrow due to the fog, but managed to go standby the next day. Once we knew our flight was cancelled, we contacted Sirma to help us organise to stay an extra night, to make up a proper week of boarding, she had promised to contact us via email, but after 3 phone calls from us chasing up and all the promises of the world, Sirma, did nothing to help us out. We tried again in Borovets via our rep. But all they were interested in was the money. The transaction of payment happen quickly, seemed that was all they were interested in. We had also organised that friend's who were staying in another hotel, to join us for Christmas dinner, which took about 15 emails and a couple of calls to sort out before leaving. We were told on the 24th, we were on the same table, but infact on the evening, we were on separate tables. Just felt, we opted for a local company, supporting Bulgaria, but maybe we should have opted for Thomson or Neilsen, as no-one else seemed to have problems, as we did.

Sorry to hear of your experience.
We work hard to please travellers offering personal service for those willing to book independantly.
I hope by purchasing a package tour to Borovets has not put you off returning.Happy New Year.

Brilliant service from Natalie at Thomson. When our ski instructor wanted us to snow plough for the second day running, Natalie was able to organise a new instructor. By Thursday I was skiing the red run after not skiing for 30 years. My son, who was a first timer, was also doing the same. Make sure you know what you want to achieve before you set out.
